Canada ranked first for quality of life in 2018 Best Countries survey 

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]An international survey, filled by more than 21,000 people from every part of the world, conducted by the U.S. News & World Report, declared Canada as the second best country in the world to reside in. In addition to this, it was also ranked first in terms of the quality of life it provides to its residents.

 

As part of the survey’s other rankings, it was ranked second most transparent country in the most world. For the record, 80 countries were ranked after testing against 65 attributes, later sectioned to 6 broad categories and Canada managed to move ahead Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Australia in the category of quality of life. It lost to Switzerland, which secured 9.9 out of a possible 10 and became second best as a country to live in.

 

The attributes which formed the basis of the survey included, job market, affordable, economically stable, family friendly, income equality, politically stable, safe, well-developed public education system, and well-developed public health system.

 

In the quality of life category, it is for the third time that Canada was positioned at first. As per the survey, Canada scored 10 in terms of how politically and economically stable it is.

 

Speaking of public health and education systems, it scored 9.9 and is considered third best in terms of education.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
